The purpose of the Communicable Disease (CD) Program at the Saginaw County Health Department is to investigate diseases, thereby helping to promote and protect the health of the community. A communicable disease is any illness or condition that can spread to one or more persons.

Services provided include TB testing, TB treatment, hepatitis testing, hepatitis titers, and communicable disease reporting and investigation.
To have a TB Skin Test
TB testing is done in the Immunization Clinic of the health department. Anyone wanting a TB skin test performed should go to Room 109. TB Testing by appointment only. Call (989) 758-3840 to schedule an appointment
To have a TB Skin Test Read
TB test readings are performed by the Communicable Disease Nurse in Room 202.
